Import members from a spreadsheet
Add many members at once from a CSV file, for example an export from Spond or your own spreadsheet. Owners and admins can do this.
- In the admin, open Members and click Import CSV.
- Under CSV file, choose your file (comma or semicolon separated, up to 500 rows).
- Under Match the columns, check which column holds which field. Clubkit guesses from the headers: name (or first and last name), the member's own email, phone, date of birth, team, age category, nationality, positions, and the guardian's name, email, phone and relation.
- Click Check rows.
- Read the Preview. Each row is new, duplicate or has a problem, with the reason. Untick Import this row for rows you want to leave out.
- Choose whether to Send account invitations to adults with an email and Send guardian invitations for children with a guardian email.
- Click Import … members.
Nothing is created until step 7, and nobody gets an email unless you tick the boxes in step 6.
Children
Put the parent's email in the guardian columns, never in the member's own email. Brothers and sisters can share one guardian email. For under-18s, an email in the member's own column is not stored.
Dates can be written as YYYY-MM-DD or DD.MM.YYYY. A team that doesn't exist in Clubkit is skipped; the member is imported without a team.
Later
In Members, the filter Under 18, no guardian account shows children whose parents aren't in the app yet. Invite guardians sends one invitation for each of them that has a guardian email on file.
